Fiberglass Columns are lightweight and require very little maintenance. They are
ideal for indoor and outdoor applications because all parts are non-porous, water-proof,
and impervious to insect infestation. |

Each column comes standard with an architecturally correct
Tuscan cap and base (Attic base is optional). Fiberglass columns from 8"x8' to
16"x12' are manufactured from highly advanced fiberglass reinforced polymers
(FRP). This composition creates one of the MOST DURABLE load-bearing columns
available. We offer both plain and fluted shafts in sizes 8"x8' through
12"x12'; larger sizes are only available with plain shafts. Caps and bases for
columns 8" in diameter through 12" in diameter are manufactured from high
density polyurethane and fit around the load-bearing shaft. Fiberglass columns
14" in diameter or greater come with a fiberglass cap, base and plinth.
Dixie-Pacific Fiberglass Columns 16"x14' and larger are manufactured using a unique
method which gives them great load-bearing capacity yet makes them very LIGHTWEIGHT.
These products are virtually MAINTENANCE FREE. All have an architecturally correct taper and bead and are available with a
plain shaft in sizes up to 24"x26'. We have the capacity to produce columns up
to 42"x40'. Call for special quotes on sizes 26" up to 42".

ENJOYMENT. When used outdoors, Dixie-Pacific Fiberglass Columns must be protected
with at least one coat of a quality exterior paint. Once painted, they can withstand
long-term exposure to severe weather. To ensure years of beauty and durability, like
all other Dixie-Pacific products, each fiberglass column must pass quality control
inspections before it is shipped. |
